Henan Finance University is a public undergraduate university in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, established in its current form in 2016. It was formed by merging the Henan College of Finance and Taxation, founded in 1953, with the Henan Institute of Education, founded in 1955. The university concentrates on finance, taxation, accounting and economics, complemented by emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and big data. Its Weber International College conducts international education and cooperative programmes with universities abroad.
