Hetao College is a public undergraduate institution in Bayannur, western Inner Mongolia, whose predecessor Hetao University was founded in 1985 and which was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2012. Named after the fertile Hetao irrigation region of the Yellow River, it emphasizes agriculture, water conservancy and medicine. The college serves the agricultural and pastoral economy of the Yellow River bend.
