📖 About the university

Guangxi Arts University, founded in 1938, is the only comprehensive higher arts institution in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and one of a small number of independent multi-arts universities in China. It brings together fine art, design, music, dance, film and drama, and is distinctive for teaching and researching the rich ethnic-minority arts of southern China and for its exchanges with Southeast Asian countries. Its graduates lead the artistic and cultural life of Guangxi. Located in the green city of Nanning near the ASEAN gateway, it blends Chinese, ethnic and international influences. The university welcomes international students, especially from neighbouring Southeast Asia.
