Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine in Jinzhong, founded in 1978, is the leading TCM university of Shanxi province in northern China. It teaches Chinese medicine, acupuncture and tuina, Chinese pharmacy and clinical medicine, and draws on Shanxi's traditions of medicinal herbs and the Fu Shan school of medicine.
