Anhui Institute of Information Technology is a private undergraduate university in Wuhu, Anhui Province. It grew out of an independent college founded in 2003, and in 2016 it was approved to become a full private university, wholly sponsored by the technology company iFlytek. The university focuses on information and engineering fields, with particular strengths in computer science, artificial intelligence, big data and electrical engineering. It enrolls more than fourteen thousand full-time undergraduate students and emphasizes industry-oriented, applied education.
