Quanzhou Normal University is a public university in Quanzhou, a historic port city in southern Fujian province, founded in 1958. It is a comprehensive teacher-training institution notable for its programs in education, Chinese language and literature, and music, including the preservation and study of Nanyin, an ancient Fujian musical tradition recognized by UNESCO.
