📖 About the university

Harbin Medical University is one of northeast China's most prestigious medical universities, founded in 1926 with roots in a medical school led by the plague-fighting hero Dr. Wu Lien-teh. It is highly regarded for clinical medicine, pharmacology, cardiology and public health, and its arrhythmia and cardiovascular research is nationally leading. The university operates several large affiliated hospitals in Harbin and Daqing that serve the whole region. It has a long history of training doctors for northern China and welcomes international students into its English-taught MBBS program.
