📖 About the university

Anhui Medical University is a public medical university in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, with roots going back to the Dongnan Medical College founded in Shanghai in 1926. It is one of the oldest western-style medical schools in China and relocated to Anhui in the 1950s. The university is especially renowned for dermatology, pharmacology and clinical medicine, several of which rank among the country's best. It runs a number of large affiliated teaching hospitals across Anhui and trains many of the province's doctors. International students can study clinical medicine (MBBS) in English, and the campus attracts learners from across Asia and Africa.
