📖 About the university

Hefei City College is a private undergraduate university in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. It was founded in 2003 as the School of Urban Construction of the Anhui University of Architecture and adopted the name Hefei City College in December 2020 when the Ministry of Education approved its transformation into an independently established private undergraduate institution. The college has two campuses, at Binhu and Beicheng, and is organised into six teaching colleges and departments. It offers around thirty-five undergraduate majors, several of which are provincial first-class programme construction points. Reflecting its origins, its strongest fields are civil engineering, architecture, information engineering, and economics and management. Administered by Anhui Province, it focuses on applied talent for the urban-construction and service industries of the Hefei metropolitan region.
