Liaoning University of International Business and Economics is a non-profit private undergraduate university and the first private undergraduate institution in Liaoning Province, situated in the Lushun Economic Development Zone of Dalian, a coastal city on the Bohai Sea. Its history began in 1997, evolving from an international-trade school and vocational college before being upgraded in 2005 to its present undergraduate status, and it gained bachelor's degree-granting authority in 2007.
