Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is a Sino-British joint-venture university in Suzhou Industrial Park, founded in 2006 as a partnership between Xi'an Jiaotong University and the University of Liverpool. It is one of China's largest international universities, teaching primarily in English and awarding undergraduates both a Chinese Ministry of Education degree and a University of Liverpool degree. The university draws students from more than 80 countries and faculty from over 60, with programs in technology, business, science, and the humanities. It is widely regarded as a leader in international higher education in China.
