📖 About the university

Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences is a public university approved by China's Ministry of Education in 2023 and run independently by Germany's Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the first foreign institution to operate independently in mainland China. Based in the Li'an International Education Pilot Zone in Lingshui, Hainan, it teaches applied programmes in engineering, computing, and design, largely in English and following German standards. It awards German degrees to its students in China.
