Shanxi Police College is a public undergraduate police academy in Taiyuan under the Public Security Department of Shanxi Province. Its history dates back to the Shanxi Public Security College founded in 1949, and it was upgraded to a full undergraduate police college in 2016. The college trains police officers and public-security professionals for Shanxi and beyond, offering programmes in criminal investigation, public security management, forensic science and cyber-security policing. As a specialised law-enforcement institution, it combines classroom study with practical police training and physical conditioning.
