📖 About the university

Communication University of Shanxi is a public university jointly built by the Shanxi provincial government and the National Radio and Television Administration, and is the third public media-focused undergraduate university in China. It grew out of the North China Broadcasting and Television School founded in 1983, later became a broadcasting management college, and was upgraded to Communication University of Shanxi in 2013. It offers programmes in journalism, broadcasting, film, animation and information engineering. The university has built cooperative relationships with institutions in the United States, Germany, Sweden and South Korea.
