Shangluo University is a public undergraduate university in Shangluo, a city in the Qinling Mountains of southeastern Shaanxi province. It traces its origins to a teachers college established in 1976 and became a full undergraduate university in 2006. The university has developed particular strengths in new materials and chemical engineering, as well as the study and use of the rich biological resources of the Qinling range, alongside its continuing role in teacher education. It is a designated applied-university construction unit for Shaanxi province.
