It dates to 1900 on the Chinese Eastern Railway (Binzhou line), and was rebuilt between 2008 and 2012 to add Harbin–Qiqihar high-speed rail service, with the current building opening on 1 March 2015. It is about 63 km (roughly 25 minutes by HSR) from Harbin.
