The station connects directly underground to airport Terminals T1 and T2 and to the Zhengzhou Metro's Xinzheng Airport station, making it the fastest way into central Zhengzhou; buses and taxis from the airport forecourt reach Xinzheng city itself.

Traveller notes

Opened on 31 December 2015 with the Zhengzhou–Xinzheng Airport intercity line, it is an underground station with four tracks and four platforms serving both airport shuttle trains and through high-speed services, and is the only railway station within Xinzheng's own city limits (the airport being administratively part of Xinzheng).
