Wuxue has no metro. Taxis/Didi and local buses wait outside; note that a separate high-speed station, Wuxue North, also serves the city at a different location.

Built in 1996 on the Beijing–Kowloon railway, it is a third-class station handling more than 21 regular trains a day linking Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen and other cities. It remains the main conventional station for Wuxue travelers.
