Tumen has no metro. The station is in town, served by local buses and taxis.

Traveller notes
Originally named 'Qushui Station', it was renamed 'Tumen North Railway Station' on 20 August 2015 with the opening of the Changchun–Hunchun intercity railway. Since the old downtown Tumen Railway Station stopped passenger boarding/alighting in July 2020 (retaining only ticket sales), Tumen North has also taken over the conventional trains that used to start or terminate at old Tumen Station.
