🚇 To & from the city centre
A fully underground station at the northern end of the Yujiapu central business district, the heart of Binhai New Area. There is no metro connection yet; Metro lines Z4 and B1, both under construction, will meet here. For Tianjin Port or the Tanggu area use a taxi/Didi or city buses. From this station an intercity train to Beijing South normally takes under an hour.
The station entered service in September 2015 as Yujiapu Station (于家堡站), the Binhai New Area terminus of the Beijing–Tianjin intercity railway. IMPORTANT name warning: on 5 January 2019 it was renamed Binhai Station (滨海站), and at the same moment the old Binhai Station was renamed Binhai West (滨海西站). Older tickets and maps may therefore still use the old name. Check that your ticket says 滨海站 and not 滨海西站 or 塘沽站 — these are different stations within the same Binhai area.
