🚇 To & from the city centre
A small station serving western Suzhou and the New District — useful if your destination is a factory or showroom in Huqiu or Xushuguan rather than travelling to Suzhou main station and doubling back west. It stands southeast of the old Xushuguan station on the Beijing–Shanghai line, south of Chengji Road, west of the Aeon mall and north of Xushuguan South Road. Suzhou Metro: the station named 苏州新区火车站 on Lines 3 and 6 is named after it and sits nearby.
- Suzhou Metro 3 Suzhou Xinqu Railway Station (苏州新区火车站)
- Suzhou Metro 6 Suzhou Xinqu Railway Station (苏州新区火车站)
A stop on the Shanghai–Nanjing intercity line, a high-frequency corridor where D- and G-series trains between Shanghai and Nanjing call at the intermediate cities. Long-distance Beijing–Shanghai high-speed services do not stop here; they use Suzhou North (苏州北站). Name warning: Suzhou has at least four passenger stations — Suzhou (苏州站), Suzhou North (苏州北站), Suzhou Industrial Park (苏州园区站) and Suzhou Xinqu (苏州新区站) — and the names look alike on a ticket. Check the full Chinese name.
