🔄 Getting from the station to the airport
Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is reached from Shanghai South Railway Station by Metro Line 3 to Zhongshan Park, then Line 2 to the airport, about 45-55 minutes for ¥4-5.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) lies far to the east: take Metro Line 1 to People's Square and transfer to Line 2 to Pudong, about 90-100 minutes for ¥8-9. A taxi takes 55-75 minutes for ¥160-200. There is no free express option; the metro is cheapest.
