🚇 To & from the city centre
High-speed station south of the city; city bus and taxi to central Kaili. Gateway to Miao and Dong villages.
High-speed station on the Shanghai–Kunming HSR, gateway to Xijiang Miao Village and Dong villages. Fast trains to Guiyang, Kunming and Changsha.
🔄 Getting from the station to the airport
Kaili Huangping Airport (KJH), about 45-55 km: this is a long transfer, as the high-speed Kaili South Railway Station sits on the city's edge while the airport lies well to the northwest. There is no direct link, so travelers usually take a taxi or city bus into downtown Kaili and catch the airport shuttle bus (running about 09:30-17:30, roughly 1.5 hours end to end), or take a taxi the whole way in about 60-90 minutes for around 150-200 yuan. There is no free transfer; leave plenty of time.
