There is no direct metro yet, though a Nanjing Metro Line S6 stop is planned to link up with the station as part of an integrated transport hub. For now, use a city bus or a taxi/Didi.

The station opened on 28 September 2023 with the launch of the Shanghai–Nanjing Yangtze River high-speed railway. It is an elevated station covering about 14,904 square meters, its design drawing on traditional Chinese architecture and mountain-and-water contours, and was expanded from an initial 2-platform, 4-track plan to 4 platforms and 10 tracks.
