There is no metro in Jining. The station is east of the city and is linked to the centre by buses and taxis in about 25 minutes.

The high-speed station on the Rizhao–Lankao line opened in Jining in 2021, serving the city of Jining in south-western Shandong near Nansi Lake and neighbouring Qufu, the home of Confucius.

Jining Da'an Airport is about 30 km from the station. The easiest way is a taxi of around 40 minutes, or the airport shuttle bus. There is no metro in the city.
