No metro directly adjoining; the nearest metro is around Sihui (Line 1 / Batong). Taxi recommended to reach the CBD and city centre.

Traveller notes

Small older station still running a few conventional trains (including a daily Chengde–Handan double-decker and nearby sleepers); it is NOT a high-speed station. A new Beijing East station is under construction in Tongzhou.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK, northeast): from Beijing East Railway Station take the metro to Dongzhimen and the Capital Airport Express (25 yuan, about 20 minutes); total about 60 minutes for 30 yuan. A taxi is around 100 yuan.
Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX, south): metro (Line 7 and others) to Caoqiao, then the Daxing Airport Express (19 minutes, 35 yuan); total about 75 minutes for 40 yuan. A taxi is around 180 yuan.
