📖 About the school
Opened on 1 September 2013 by Country Garden chairman Yang Guoqiang and operated by Bright Scholar Education Group, Jurong Country Garden School (JCGS) sits on a roughly 13.4-hectare campus in the Jurong Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu, part of the Yangtze River Delta near Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing. It is authorized to teach the full IB continuum -- PYP, MYP and DP -- with capacity for 3,600 students from kindergarten through Grade 12, and its stated mission is to cultivate students with a Chinese identity and an international mindset.
