📜 About & history
Yushu Mosque is located in Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai, and is the only mosque in the Yushu area. The present mosque building was completed on 13 June 2006 with the support of many sectors of Yushu society. Since the peaceful liberation of Yushu in 1951, the local Muslim community has coexisted harmoniously with the Tibetan Buddhist Jiegu Monastery, a relationship praised as a model of ethnic unity.
