📜 About & history
The Yingli ('garrison') Mosque takes its name from the Yuan-dynasty military camp that once stood in the Xiaoxuexi Alley area, where Hui soldiers of the Yuan army were stationed in Chang'an. The Yuan government built the mosque so the Muslim officers and men of the barracks could practice their faith, hence the name 'Yingli' (within the barracks). It is one of the historic 'Seven Mosques' of the Xi'an Muslim Quarter that predate the Qing Qianlong era. It remains a functioning neighborhood mosque in Chinese architectural style.

- Line 2 Bell Tower （钟楼）
- Line 1 Sajinqiao （洒金桥）
Buses to Qiaozikou (桥梓口); Xiaoxuexi Alley runs north off West Street.
Inside the Muslim Quarter — a short walk within the 回坊, near the Daxuexi/Xiaoxuexi lanes.
From the Bell Tower walk northwest into the quarter; Xiaoxuexi Alley is west of Daxuexi Alley, about a 12-minute walk.
Its name recalls the Yuan-dynasty Hui military garrison of old Chang'an. 请带我去营里清真寺
