📜 About & history
Commonly called the West Great Mosque, it is the oldest and largest mosque in Tai'an, with a history of more than 600 years. West-facing and built as a two-courtyard temple-style compound, it was repaired in 2008 under the city cultural relics bureau and is a Tai'an municipal protected site. It is the main place of worship for local Hui Muslims and for foreign Muslims visiting Mount Tai.

Five daily prayers and Friday Jumu'ah; Chinese-language sermon. During Eid, Muslims from Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia and countries such as Pakistan gather here.

City buses reach the Caiyuan Subdistrict Hui quarter in central Tai'an; ask for Qingzhensi Jie.
Central location near the Nai River, west of Mount Tai; short taxi ride from Tai'an Railway Station or Dai Temple.
Central mosque for Hui community around Qingzhensi Street; halal restaurants in the neighbourhood. Chinese spoken.
