📜 About & history
The Shouxian Mosque was the largest mosque in East China during the Ming and Qing dynasties, its magnificent hall built to imperial-palace standards in the Ming era. It stands inside the well-preserved Shouxian ancient city, not far from the south gate, and is a nationally protected cultural relic.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested.
