📜 About & history

Shouxian Grand Mosque stands in Shouchun Town within the ancient city of Shou County. Originally built in the Song dynasty at the old west gate, it was relocated to its present site in the early Ming dynasty as the local Muslim population grew. The complex is arranged as three successive courtyards measuring 128 meters east to west, and in 2013 it was designated a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
