📜 About & history
Bukui Mosque is the oldest and largest mosque in Heilongjiang province. Its East Mosque was built in 1684, seven years before Qiqihar city was founded, and the West Mosque was added in 1852; the two merged into one institution in 1958. It preserves fine colour paintings, wood carvings and brick carvings, and was listed as a national protected cultural relic in 2006.
