📜 About & history
Also called Zhaoweilu Ancient Mosque, it was founded in 1730 (Yongzheng 8) and rebuilt in 1779 (Qianlong 44). It was badly damaged during the Cultural Revolution and restored afterwards. Buildings include a palace-style prayer hall, a three-tier pavilion rear hall, a minaret (bang tower), ablution rooms and side wings; total built area about 1,560 sq m. Designated a county-level protected cultural relic in 1983.

Five daily prayers and Friday Jumu'ah; serves the Hui community of Shouwang township. Imam preaches in Chinese.

Rural bus from Zhaotong city toward Shouwang Hui Township / Baxianying.
In Shouwang Hui Township north-west of Zhaotong city; roughly 20–30 minutes by taxi from the city centre. Show the Chinese address to the driver.
One of the historic Hui centres of north-east Yunnan; halal food in the surrounding Hui village.
