Zunyi

In Guizhou province

Zunyi is a historic city in northern Guizhou, best known for the 1935 Zunyi Conference, a turning point of the Chinese Communist revolution, and for the nearby town of Moutai, home of China's most famous baijiu liquor. It has a mild, humid subtropical highland climate. An airport and high-speed rail connect it to Guiyang and Chongqing. For an international student, Zunyi offers revolutionary heritage, dramatic waterfalls, and a cool, comfortable climate.
