Yibin is a city in southern Sichuan at the confluence where the Min River joins to form the Yangtze proper, famed as the home of Wuliangye, one of China's most prestigious baijiu liquors, and the vast Shunan Bamboo Sea. It has a humid subtropical climate. An airport and high-speed rail connect it to Chengdu and Chongqing.
