Shiyan

In Hubei province

Shiyan is a mountain city in northwestern Hubei, best known as the gateway to the sacred Wudang Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage cradle of Taoism and Wudang martial arts, and as a major automobile-manufacturing base. It has a humid subtropical mountain climate. An airport and high-speed rail connect it to Wuhan and Xi'an. For an international student, Shiyan offers Taoist culture, mountain scenery, and industrial heritage.
