Maoming

Maoming is a coastal city in western Guangdong that grew rapidly around one of China's major petrochemical bases. It is one of the country's largest producers of lychee, and its orchards color the hills red each summer. The coastline offers wide beaches such as China's No.1 Beach and the diving waters around Fangji Island. Its climate is warm and coastal subtropical, with long summers cooled by sea breezes.
