Jiujiang is a port city on the Yangtze in northern Jiangxi, gateway to the famous Mount Lu, a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape, and set beside Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake. It has a humid subtropical climate. An airport and high-speed rail connect it to Nanchang and Wuhan.
