Jinhua
Jinhua is a prefecture in central Zhejiang world-famous for its dry-cured Jinhua ham, produced here since the Song dynasty and considered one of China's finest. The prefecture contains some of the country's most remarkable places: Hengdian in Dongyang hosts the world's largest outdoor film studios, nicknamed 'Chinawood,' while Yiwu operates the planet's biggest wholesale market for small commodities, exporting to every corner of the globe. The Zhuge Bagua Village in Lanxi, laid out according to the eight-trigrams cosmology, is home to descendants of the strategist Zhuge Liang. The karst Shuanglong Cave near the city has drawn travelers and poets for centuries. High-speed rail on the Shanghai-Kunming line makes Jinhua a major regional hub.
