A compact, densely packed Cantonese scholar's garden built in the mid-19th century by the Qing officer Zhang Jingxiu, counted among the four famous gardens of Guangdong. It is run today as the Dongguan Keyuan Museum, with a modern free-entry gallery wing beside the historic garden.
