📍 Huanggang 🏛️ Historical

ℹ️ About

A national 4A scenic area and key cultural relic at No. 11 Park Road in Huangzhou District, Huanggang, Hubei, approved in 2014. Known as 'Literary Red Cliff' to distinguish it from the historic Chibi battlefield in Xianning, it marks the spot where the exiled Song-dynasty poet Su Dongpo composed his famous 'Ode to the Red Cliff' essays and the poem 'Charm of a Maiden Singer'. The riverside park preserves halls such as Erfu Tang and Qixia Lou, alongside an exhibition hall on Su Dongpo and rock formations along the cliff.
