About 24 km from Zhangye city centre. No metro; reach the centre by taxi or airport bus in 30-35 min. Gateway to the colourful Danxia geopark.
Dual-use civil/military airport on the Silk Road in Gansu. Domestic flights to Xi'an, Lanzhou, Chengdu and others.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
To Zhangye West Railway Station (regular and high-speed trains): about 25 km from the airport. The cheapest is the airport bus to the Electric Power Building, then a 240 m walk and transfer to New Line 1 to the station, about ¥21 total in roughly 1.5 hours. A taxi is faster at about ¥60 in around 45 minutes. There is no free option.
