The airport is about 40 km to the west of Tonghua city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.

Serves the mountainous city of Tonghua in southern Jilin. A domestic regional airport in Jilin. Basic facilities (dining and small shops); ask the information desk about a prayer room.
