🚇 Getting to the city centre
About 20 km south of the centre. Shenyang Metro Line 2 (blue) terminates at the airport and reaches downtown in 40-50 min for a few yuan. Airport Bus No.1 runs to Shenyang Railway Station for about CNY 16. Taxi is roughly CNY 60-80 in 30-40 min.
- Shenyang Metro Line 2 Taoxian Airport （桃仙机场）
One of Northeast China's busiest hubs. Single terminal (T3) handles both domestic and international flights, so no terminal changes. Restaurants and a prayer/quiet room are available; ask the information desk for prayer facilities and halal options.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
Shenyang Railway Station: Take Metro Line 2 from the airport (it has served the airport directly since 2023) toward the city, transfer to Line 1 at Qingnian Dajie, and alight at Shenyang Station; about 60 minutes for ¥6, the cheapest option. An airport shuttle bus also reaches the station area for about ¥15 in 50 minutes, or a taxi runs about ¥60 in 40 minutes.
Shenyang North Railway Station: It sits directly on Metro Line 2, so ride Line 2 from the airport with no transfer to the North Station; about 45 minutes for ¥5, the fastest low-cost option. A taxi is about ¥55.
