The airport is about 5 km to the south of Shangri-La city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.

To Shangri-La Railway Station (regular/high-speed): there is no metro; the best option is a taxi directly from the airport, about 20 minutes. The airport shuttle bus toward the city center is also available, from where you can change to the station. Allow extra time at remote regional airports.
