The airport is about 30 km to the east of Ankang city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.

Opened 2021 to replace the old Wulipu Airport; serves southern Shaanxi. A domestic regional airport in Shaanxi. Basic facilities (dining and small shops); ask the information desk about a prayer room.

To Ankang Railway Station (regular/high-speed): there is no metro; the best option is a taxi directly from the airport, about 60 minutes. The airport shuttle bus toward the city center is also available, from where you can change to the station. Allow extra time at remote regional airports.
